slow day

fish all day tuesday and only caught one 22 inch trout and one 18 inch flounder.the tide was still really low but the water was looking pretty good.

Thanks for the report. I hope to fish at least one day this weekend.

I would take that 22" trout in a heartbeat. I have casted about a thousand times in that bayou over the years and have not managed one over 20" yet (my wife has though). I know they are there.

WTG Slow or not, you got fish! I have yet to catch a trout over 20'' as well. I came close once and brought a 25+ '' one to the side of the boat until it made another run and broke off. To me, a 25+'' is the stuff of legends :P
