walked-in yesterday morning with an incoming tide and a shoreline that was covered in bait.i did'nt need the corkies,it was all spooks.the wind was light and variable all morning, with overcast skies and a little fog...perfect topwater conditions.those fish were going ape **** on that spook jr.you could see and hear those trout running that bait.i had 5-6 trout slam it,hook themselves in the face and pull off.at least that many blew up on it,big blow ups too.some of these fish were coming completley out of the water.i released 4 or 5,strung a few and walked out at 12:30.those reds were'nt missing that spook jr,they were inhaling it.every fish that blew up, got hooked, released and kept were all taken on a solid black spook jr.
