My buddy who I got hooked to saltwater fishing finally had an open day and I decided to show him the diversionary. We got there at around 9 and had continous action until we ran out of bait at 3. The water was a lot higher than it has been in the past and there was bait everywhere. I tried flipping in some arties but it seemed like they just wanted our shrimp. Our final tally was 12 undersized specks, 2 legal specks that were less than 17, a trillion rat reds, 1 legal red, 3 black drum, and 2 sheepheads. All of the fish were released to grow bigger! Unfortuantely, I did not find any of the big black drum but I am still hopeful that I will catch one soon! This weekend looks like it's going to be a good one!
