  • What is the name of the contact that does outboard sevice at your place?

I want to replace the water pump but I don't have a service manual and am leary to do this on my own.
I have the parts time and money, just lack the skill and confidence to do on my own.

      Thanks dude!
I've changed the fan oil/plugs and cleaned the air filter.
On the out board I've changed the lower unit oil, engine oil, plugs, trim tab anode, transome monted fuel/water seperator and the fuel/water seperator under the cowling. I've also pulled and drained the gas tank and tightened up the center consel and had my chewed up prop repaired by Bowman Marine. When I get the water pump replaced I'll feel ready to rock!

Water pumps are easy. Try marineparts.com for the manual. Spook and I drop mine and had her bac togehter in an hour. Only problem i had ordered the wrong part. The one in it looked in great shape so at least I know it is not thrashed. Call me if you need some help.

It's not that hard of a job to drop lower unit, about 8 bolts & it's down, 4 on w/p housing. One problem you could run into is w/p bolts breaking, not fun to drill out.
          Today is a new day!!
