Cruised down to the spot yesterday afternoon for that strong incoming.Walked in around 2pm with the winds straight out of the south at 12-15.Had plenty of bait and current, but the fish were'nt feeding. The wind backed off after a while,so i tossed a clown spook and had about a 28-30" red clobber it and finally pulled off after being hooked in the face. That was the only blow up on top.I switched back to the "beacon"(pink/pearl/pink corky),and about 6-6:30,they came to life. From then until dark, caught 8 trout,1 red, released 4(and the redfish),kept 4 good ones. The water was beautiful when i walked out and the skeets worked me over on the way back to the truck. The bite was LATE,but a good one.
