Halls bayou slam...had to run in to Halls to catch a fish today. With the am high tides i started
out looking for reds on shoreline grass in several areas around the bay today. After about 4 hours with out a bite and the wind getting brutal i decided to run up Halls.
Throwing a heavy jig/plastic combo to the channel edge in less than a hour i picked up a slam.
    tally for the hour..2 trout(1 keeper) 2 reds(1 keeper) 4 flounder ( 1 keeper).

Nice job! Halls is a great place to fish! What color arty were you throwing? Was it very muddy?

curly tail gulp on a 3/4 oz head and the water in the bayou was in great shape. i think the heavy jig was the key, it allowed me to work the ledge with ease.
