went down to chocolate today, made a beeline at first lite straight for Halls bayou. With the early am low tide is was hoping there would still be alittle water movement. There was and the redfish were showing themselves by crashing bait on the grasslines.
Picked up 4 reds fairly quick, the bite died along with the tide shortly after 8.
Spent a couple hours exploring Halls.
By 10ish i was on the west shoreline north of the narrows, making drifts throwing a cork/plastic rig. picked up 7 reds and a black drum.
Of the dozen or so reds only 2 were keepers, i had a third on but he broke my spinnerbait hook. all in all a good day on the water.
