Lodging & Fishing - Corpus Area

Hey guys & gals I'm planning a trip down to the Corpus area with the boat in tow in a few weeks and need advice on low cost places to stay. The plan is to run by Stiffy to pick up a new push pole then either keep heading south to Baffin or swing back towards Rockport. I haven't been to Corpus since I was a youngin' and wasn't fishing at the time so that leaves me with no clue where to start.

Basically I'm looking for a place with a/c, trailer parking and close proximity to a quality boat ramp. Cold beer & entertainment is a bonus. Whatcha got?

Hey Scott it's Brandon, give me a call 281-678-1371. I am checking with a buddy down there who lives on the water and may be willing to trade you time on the skiff for a place to crash and driveway to park the skiff. He knows the area pretty well down to Baffin.

Been slaughtering the trout in the landcutt. You shouldn't have any problems locating the fish along with west shoreline on the edge of the sand/grass areas.
