I fished a couple from Pennsylvania on their first saltwater experience. The weather was tough, wind 30 and gusting and a north wind suppose to come in around 1 with gust to 45. Where we had clear water yesterday, the wind had blown all night and the water was chocolate colored. We started out drifting the flats, pickup up a few hard heads, then 2 nice trout. Drifting over 1 mile per hour is tough on experienced anglers, but really tough on new people, but they were troopers and about noon we got a reprieve in wind for an hour and half before the front hit. They managed 5 nice reds in middle to upper slots and the trout. When the front hit we headed for the dock, and the wind was blowing so hard it would blow your hat off standing at the cleaning table.
Thanks folks for a great day on the water and look forward to doing it again.
