surf report thursday

I went down to surfside this morning to give it a try. the water was pretty rough for wading but tried it anyway. i had some live mullet for bait and the first cast had a 21 in. red. the next cast was a good size blue fish and lost a nice fish with my third mullet. started catching hardheads and getting cold called it a day. the fish are there if you can stand the waves and seaweed. also talked to a few guys down the beach, said they caught some bull reds.

Nice catch! Reds are good and bluefish ain't bad either.

Haven't heard back from my buddy about camping inland this weekend. Not a bad thing as I got to study, and can get some fishing in too!
