What a great day on the water, light winds from the north temperature in mid 70's, mostly overcast, the temperature keep dropping most of morning to lower 60's. May 2nd and weather like this?
We started out reversing the drift from the week, working the areas that had been producing fish, but all we could get was small reds and drum.
We moved to clear water about 3/4 mile from some small island and drifted in to them. Found the keeper reds scattered over grass on live shrimp.
