Ok I have connected by 2 12v batts in parallel (pos to pos and neg to neg) to give me a little longer running time for my 12 v trolling motor. my question is: When charging can I connect my charger pos clamp to one batt pos post and the neg clamp to the 2nd batt neg post to charge both batteries at the same time? Or do I need to charge each battery seperatley? i hope that made sense....

You can charge both batteries at the same time, will not hurt a thing unless you have one battery go bad like on a diesel truck, they run dual batteries & both get charged at the same time. If you have one go bad, it will draw the other one down, thats about it. You can hook charger to one battery & it will charge both.Today is a new day!!

Been doing this for over 20 years. Not a problem. It's best if both batteries are the same age and have had the same use. Don't want one dragging down the other. I've got 4 connected in parallel for super-long run time. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Yep-can charge both thru one. Parallel is fine-Dawg and Coe are 100% on."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
