  • water pump alarm

I forgot how much fun owning a used bay boat could be. Im sure many of you have experienced this one before: I barely launched the boat and not 3 minutes into it my WP alram goes off! At least I think its my WP alarm. It sounds like its coming from underneath my console right under my throttle box. I have a strong water stream coming from pisser and temp feels normal. Alarm turns off when I ilde down to a crawl. Turned boat around and here I sit asking for advice.

I forgot to mention that I removed the VRO system a couple weeks ago but I did disconnect the oiler alarm. Is there 1 or 2 oil alarms on a 92 115 V4? The alarm that is sounding is not a continuos alarm but a beep or horn sound about a second apart. I am thinking the water pump is a long continuos alarm. I read on a different forum that some Johnsons have more than 1 VRO alarm.... Is this true?

Oil alarm is solid, and heat alarm is intermittent. May have a bad sensor, possibly bad T-Stat.
