Quintana Beach 6-3-11

Got out this morning before daylight and got the crap beat out of me by the surf so I moved down and tucked into the pocket behind the Quintana side jetty. Caught 2 nice trout both around 20, had a couple of pulloffs and 6 or 8 more blowups. Would have stayed longer but I had to go to work. The seaweed was pretty thick but it was fishable. Saw one guy down from me lose a big one right out in front of him that probably would have gone 7 or 8 lbs. He was using a root beer colored devil eye. He said quite a few cuss words for some reason..

All my fish were on a big clown spook. Water was off color but it didn't seem to matter too much. The guy next to me was using a red & white spook jr and was doing pretty well with that too.
