Quick recon Surfside 6/8 10:00hrs

Just made a quickie recon down to Surfside.

Wind from SSW about 12.
Surf rough but still green. Way too rough to wade but long rod doable.
LOTS of weed in the jetty pocket.
Sky darkening up. Probably get some rain later.
All bait stands open and flying white.

Makes me wonder if I should have fished off of a rock groin. I got a limit one day on live shrimp fishing in knee high chop with green water.

I would have. I've done just as good when it was rough and nobody wanted to fish cause it wasn't flat. Fish still gotta eat.
