Surf rough. Almost too rough to wade.
    Water green with some sargasso.
Wind was dropping off to less than 5 out of the south.
I threw arties for about an hour at first light. No bites.
Beach has many areas of soft sand so be careful driving.
Was getting crowded when I left at 7:30am.
West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

The sand was getting powder soft last week, we need some rain to pack it.

I saw a ghost crab hitching a tow strap to another crab to pull him out.

    Thanks for the report.

Was there Friday and Sat. Water was really nice, color that is. Lots of bait. Trout are there. Wading is tough, but if you can handle the roughness, you can catch some nice trout. Fished in the river and CT caught a 22" trout. Some nice sandies too, flounder....

And FishinMama caught 2 of the bigest gar I've ever seen at the intersection of the SB and ICW. It was priceless...you can imagine how she reacted.
