(son part of fathernson) I came home from the job and decided flounder stuffed with crab sounded like a fitting dinner after a hard days work. I headed out to kemah to do some wading. Water was chocolate colored at best. small mullet everywhere. waded one of my favorite spots and pulled out 5 flounder ranging from 15-18 inches, kept 3 and ended the day with a beautiful 20 inch speck which was released. Beats the hell outta watching fishing shows and way tastier than fast food.

I want to move to an apartment in seabrook when I get back to houston. I will probably just launch whatever boat I end up with right there at one of the yacht clubs.

The long runs through mostly deep water to fimilliar territory like SLP, Greens Lake and the Galveston Channel had me a bit concerned. But I like that people are able to catch some stuff right there.

Cool considering the boat i want will be a small skiff. Shallow performance doesnt go to well with the chop that can kick up out by the dike.

A technical poling skiff is the ultimate boat for once i get to the spot though. For my kind of fishing.

I like the stealthy hull with no slap. Even when im not poling.

Just wade the shallow flats. I will be fishing Seabrook Flats again this weekend wading all the old pillings. Srimp seemed to be the bait of choice last weekend.
                    Today is a new day!!

the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
