  • Diversionary 6/16

Took the kids out for a really quick, really windy trip yesterday afternoon. Left the dock at 530pm and got back at 715. Found a protected spot and the kids caught a bunch of croaker and black drum slinging dead bait. I hadn't planned on fishing but when the kids took a break I made a few casts with a plum colored cocahoe and picked up 3 flounder really quick. Ready for it to stop blowing!!

SHOULD READ 6/15 in the title.. sorry

                  Great job Ibtsoom!

What a great Dad...gettin' those young ones out fishing. My hat is off to you. Excellent!

I love to fish the Diversionary Canal...and have done well at night with a generator and lights.

I look forward to hearing and seeing more great catches!

Amen to that or blow another direction!

It's been way to long since I've been in Jones or the Diversionary.. One of my favorite spots is about 3/4's away down at the T as my Dad would call it. Me and a friend once saw Flounders jumping right out of the water @ the T in the Grass beds. I Think they were eating skitters or some small insect right on top of the water, It was a sight.
Keep them Kids fishing and smiling like that and you got your fishing buddies for life.
                    Excellent,
                    Thanks for sharing..
