Fished a couple spots west of Confederate yesterday 2-4pm. Caught 3 with the biggest going about 25". Caught the big one on a black/chartreuse she dog, then missed another one that made like Jaws (but missed). The other ones on white paddle tails in 2 -3 feet of water. Light wind rain and drizzle. Retained one small one for the frying pan due to it being mortally wounded.

I also missed my personal best trout yesterday. As a matter of fact, I have missed her since last July. LMAO!

Nice job out there Scott! I wish I could have made it. I think it is redfish hunting time starting this week. I will be getting out Wed or Thurs and hitting the redfish holes.

Good to see your catching nice fish Scott! Catchin them on topwaters is so much fun. I too have had jaws hit my lure in that area, but I always loose her. I forsee next winter in west bay to yield alot of big trout.
