I had the pleasure to fish with Bouy37 yesterday. Since he just moved to the clear lake area we decided to launch at the park on the lake. fished the lake and the creek a little before moving out toward the Seabrook flats. Got blown off the flats really quick. Bouy has some knowledge of the bayport channel so we decide to head up there. It was in the channel bouy hooked into his first ever redfish on a crankbait.(bandit100) Unfortunately the fish broke him off.
We ended up boating a few reds a trout and a flattie. Had lunch at outriggers and called it a day.

I had a great time yesterday. You can bet I'll have a crankbait tackle box by the end of the week.

.....forgot to mention. I saw another boat drifting the last spot we fished yesterday. Maybe there something to that spot that keep the fishermen interested in drifting it. Take a look at it on Google Earth (if you haven't already).
