Quick recon Surfside 6/28 12:30hrs

Made a brief drive down to Surfside to check conditions.

Wind from SE about 8.(perfect direction)
Surf on beach very rough but water is a very nice green.
Tide was up.
Water east of jetty channel nice clear green.
West of channel water color was dirty/muddy.
Looks real nice down towards Drum and X-mas.

Bait stands all flying red, white, green, black.

Dagnabit! I may just drag my old tired body out there tomorrow night.

Thanks for the recon.After this little tropical wave hits mexico thursday or friday the surf should be good to go

Yeah! The water is a nice color! the surf reports are all poining to Saturday AM or Monday. I'd sure like to get out there and get some!
