Surf Trout

I got barreled about 12 times today.

Tried to seek refuge on quintana beach behind the jetty.

Still got beat up but ended up catching a few keepers and several throwbacks.

The smallest fish is 16" the largest was 23"ish

Retard it was to rough out there today... The surf cam told me to stay home, because I don't surf no more... Good job on the barrel rollin & trout catchin...

I forgot to mention, dark colors seemed to work the best. Devil eyes.

We hit 16 mile road at sunrise, it was rough...

Boxed 8, all in 20" range but took a beating do it.

Bite turned off by mid-morning, total lockjaw - headed home.

Went by pass on way out, water looked terrible.

Hope it cleared this afternoon for anyone going tomorrow.
