  • Dumb question.....

I am not a live bait fisherman or a jetty fisherman, but, my father in law wants to go fishing this weekend. He is NOT a fisherman and a complete rookie when it comes to being on a boat. So..... im thinking live shrimp and jetties would be perfect for him.

Now for my dumb question. When fishing the jetties, it makes the most sense to me to fish the outside (gulf side) on an outgoing tide, and fish the inside (channel side) on an incoming tide. Is this correct?

    Thanks.

    Unpossible to answer.
Fish could/will be anywhere at anytime.
Just gonna have to try both sides.

Be sure to bring spoons and Mirrolures to throw while pops soaks his bugs. D.O.A. shrimp worked under a mauler cork works well at the jetties for me also.
