Got on the water by 6 today and went to a little spot that has been good to me and the fish were there again. My first fish was a real nice spec that I lost at the boat. Couple casts later had a 17" trout. That was it for a while which surprised me but no biggie. I needed to scout around anyway. Ran to shell island and made a couple of casts...nothing. Went north to check water color...still off a bit but the grass flats looked good enough and that by tomorrow they should look good. Made a drift...nothing. Left there and back across to the place I started hoping to find flatties as there have been lots of flounder in the area. Slowed the retrieve way down and targeted drains...I caught six and kept three. Had three rat reds as well...need to find the bigger reds if I am going to have any shot at tomorrow I have a feeling!

Well, I found the little guys at least. I have a feeling some REAL good fish will be weighed in tomorrow. Good luck to all and see you out there...stay safe.
