          Zoom in tight on a google map and you will see them. They are quite common in West Bay.

            Large black bags that are 100' long 8' in diameter sit 2 below surface 1 above usually visible on mean tide although erosion and Ike broke open a few as well as some have sunk below water level. They are a breakwater put in to protect the shoreline of west bay and other areas along the coast.
