  • priming bulb

Any ideas? I recently started having trouble with my priming bulb. After a couple of hours on the water the primer bulb will not get hard right away. It takes several minutes of squeezing. Ok no jokes please. It first began a couple weeks ago when i ran out of gas for the first time in my life on the water. Not sure if that whats caused this problem but it began as soon as I refilled it. I can go out to the garage and it primes right up now but after a couple of hours on the water it becomes iffy.

Check your hoseclamps before the bulb and after!

Sounds like you have an air leak check all connections from tank to motor! Start with the fuel bulb if you recently replaced it.

check your pick up tube in your tank also, you could have rust holes in tube.

I think it is in the pick up tube maybe when you ran out you sucked some trash in the line, maybe messed up the check valve in the primer bulb. If not you have a air leak in line somewhere.
