  • Port O'Connor Gigging

Myself and a buddy met up with Capt. Shawn Harvey for another great night of gigging in Espiritu Santo Bay. He turned the light's on around 9pm and we stuck the last flatty at 12:30am. It started out a little slow and it seemed like it took forever to get the last one but it was a fun trip as alway's.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

You know guys, when I hit the camp I usually don't have a designated rider that I bring with me so I just take whomever happens to be there and is interested. Last night a friend I served with on the U.S.S. Detroit came over and we took the boat out for a look see. It was so muddy it turned into a simple booze cruise more than a gigging trip. Yan, you got it going on anyway and could probably show me a thing or two.
