I know that there are a couple products on the market to help someone mount a camera on their yak, however i was curious how many of you fabricated your own? Pics would be appreciated!

I use a suction mount behind me. My friend has an adjustable launcher rod holder system that can angle upwards to attach a short pole that has a camera screw mount or soemthing like that. I'll see if I can get a picture.Resident Ninja

Saw on on another surfing forum I frequent...the guy used lexan and 3 suction cups, on one of the cups he used the camera mount screw threw it. It was in the form of a triangle with a suction cup at each point of the triangle...I'll try and get the picture for you. Mounted it to his surfboard and it held up no problem in some big Costa Rican surf so it should do well for what you want. It was a GoPro cam also.Don't be a Nancy!
