Fishing here has not been nearly as spectacular as I expected for October. We normally have lots of fry in the water this time of year. So far, I have seen very very little.
While walking the beach yesterday morning, I spotted some flash over a grassy patch. I came home and got my 8wt BVK and the GoPro video camera and went back to the spot. Here is a little bit of video - the fish are blue runner - a type of jack.
