    Heading out tonight with Redfish Rob on my boat's maiden gigging expedition. (3) 500W lights and a 2000W generator. We will be working the flats... GO EAST!!!!

              I'll let you know how it works but I bet I can just idle or drift in and work the areas... We have bamboo poles that TXSHOCKWAVE helped me fab up with SS all thread very light. I'll have the push pole with me just in case its needed.

                            Maiden voyage went well. No electric shocks and everything preformed perfectly. We arrived an hour later than I would have liked. As we neared our spot I felt a shift in the boat & saw the current moving extremely hard. We gave it a go for 2 hours but visibility was horrible. We got skunked. We tried several areas saw tons of reds, shrimp, shad etc. We missed the window is what it boiled down to. Going to hit it again Sunday once the winds die down.
