32oz of sauerkraut (I prefer Bavarian Style Kraut)
4oz can of diced green chilies
10oz can of Rotel
2lbs link sausage sliced and quartered (I prefer venison sausage)
4 potatoes peeled and cubed
1 large onion chopped
Slap Ya Mama or Tony Chachere’s (If I want a real kick I use both)
Combine all ingredients in a large pot and season to taste with “Slap Ya Mama” or “ Tony Chachere’s” then cover with water. Bring to a boil then lower the heat to simmer. Cover and simmer for about 3 hours, adding water as needed but not making it too soupy.
Now break out some Shiner and don’t hurt yourself eating too much.
