  • Solid Morning in Trinity 4's and 5's

Had a father son trip today and man was it a good one. First drift started off slow picking up 8 or so and losing a couple at the boat. Second drift was another story..... repostitioned the boat inline with a pod of mullet and the smoking began. First couple of cast yeilded a 4.5 and a 5.5. We stayed with the pod and ended up with 20 trout and releasing 4 over 4lbs and 2 over 5lbs. Just a solid day despite the cold and wet conditions. All fish were caught on Tidal Surge Maniac Mullets and Spilt Tails color of choice was pumkinseed and pearl with a green tail..
