It is very frustrating when you are on teh fish and they are slicking like crazy right in front of you for 4 straight hours and only land 7 fish. I have 6 in the pic because I lost 1 trying to string it. Slicks slicks slciks . We never moved but 20 yards the whole 4-5 hours and it took us 2 hours to figure out what they wanted to eat. Started out with topwaters with no strikes then bass assasins, then corkys and after no bites I decided to throw a silver spoon on and boom. It wasnt every cast like it should have been because of all the slicks but it was enough to keep me happy especially with the size. After I landed 1 25's 2 24's 3 22's and a 20 and my budy landed none i decided to hand over to him our only silver spoon between us so he could catch them. Well as he was tying on he dropped it inb the water and we fished another hour without a bite and left. he caught a 5 inch croaker all day long in the same exact spot I caught those hawgs. Man did I give him $hit the whole time. Poor guy. Only because he is one of my best friends could I do that to him. Wind was SW @17-21 water clarity was fair. fish were caught near shell and silty sand

    Take a kid fishing!!!!!!!!
