Walked in at the pass today around 6:30 for a short wade. Winds were out of the south at about 15 and the tide was still coming in. Water was in ok shape, not green but about a foot of visibility. Around 10 minutes into the wade I stuck a 20" trout on a topwater in knee deep water. A few casts later I had something nail the spook jr and started taking line like crazy. After fighting it for 2 minutes or so it pulled off. Not really sure what it was. After that the bait activity really slowed down and I got no more blowups for an hour. Decided to wade out a little deeper and got one more to fall for a chrome she dog. I thought it was going to be on today but I guess that full moon has things a little screwed up. Called it a day around 9

Yup. I saw some guys go off road and drive literally up to the sand. It's kinda muddy in some areas so I just stayed on the road. Saw no signs saying I can't park there so I will be there a few times this week lolComment
