7/16 report
Today was spent out at the jetties as the day before. Just like Tuesday the bite was slow to get started but finally got going around 10am. Before 10am we had 5 Trout in the box but finished strong for a 3 man limit once again. Free linned shrimp near the rocks of the jetties (channel side) was the ticket for some solid Trout to 19". Today we just couldn't find any fish over 20 or any big Trout. My second spot near the Dike was on fire once again as it was Tuesday. We left them biting at 1pm but we had non stop action from 1145 to 1pm. My guys caught well over 50 keeper Trout today. The water at the jetties and near the Texas City Dike was in great shape. Once we get rid of this full moon the early morning bite will get alot better.
