Met up with FWE member Buzz13 and his crew of Jeff, Rick, and Andy yesterday at the 2004 bridge. I knew it was going to be a crowded day on the water with a nice day forcasted and a major tourney going on on the Galveston Bay complex. The game plan was to leave the dock at 430 to be in position on my first spot. The first spot produced a few fish to 23" but the bite never really seemed to get going. I think we boxed 7 or 8 Trout with about another 7 or 8 fish that simply pulled off. Forced out of my first spot a little early due to the major potlicking going on by the two boats that showed up an hour after we arrived. Thanks guys I owe you for that!
Decided to go to the pass next where we found fair action right away. It didn't take Rick long before he was bowed up with a solid Trout followed by Jeremy with a solid 25" Trout.
After that we keyed in on Trout working Ribbon Fish in 2 to 3' of water throwing soft plastics.
Ended the day with a nice box of Trout and a few Reds.
Nice fishing with your crew there Jeremy. I definatly look forward to fishing with yall again.
Andy should be making his way to FWE reel soon.
