As you can all read from Sneekypete's report he caught some fat trout on Saturday. Me on the other hand, caught a few rats and dings.
Anyway, I will make it short. Headed out around 6:00 am to East Matty bay and the wind was already blowing. When to spot that Rick mentioned to me and tried to wade. No bait at all in the area, but there were several boat drifting, so we pull up and started drifting a few spots. Nothing to show for it, so we left and hit the ICW. The people in the boat with me did not want to wade and I do not blame them, because it was muddy as heck. Anyway, we dropped off the wives, grab a 6 pack of Corona's ($10) and went back to the ICW and found some shell along the banks. Anchored and this is where we caught about 6 unsized trout and 6 unsized (16"-18") reds.
It was fun and we raised about $ 25,000 for the kids.
