  • Gigging 3-5-12 p.m.

    Went out to my little honey hole for flatties last night on the way to work, got out there around 9:30pm and was done by 10:45 and made it work 5 minutes late..ooops...o well, got me 5 pretty good ones biggest around 19.5'' the rest around 16-18". Water was a little sandy but still giggable seen 12 most were borderline so didnt wanna take a chance on killing a small one and just gigged the for sure keepers.

          GET ON IT! The flounder are thick right now and being the middle of the week the pressure is low. I saw no one else last night!

                They are sayin' it might drop to around 10knts which isn't too bad. I am itching to make my first trip of the season soon.

                  Need a co-pilot on the Gator-Tail for her maiden flounder run. Went once and it was tough with 20mph south winds
