Left the ramp at 5:30 and it was nice to have very light NE winds. Headed to some mid-bay reefs and found the water was looking much better than it has for the past two months. Started off with topwaters, and had a few blow-ups, but no hook-ups. Changed over to some soft plastics and after picking thru some dinks, I finally was able to catch some nice ones. I ended up catching around 15 that ran from 16-19". Caught most of them on dark plastics, like morning glory, roach and plum. Not the AP plum, but the darker Mattie plum. I had forgotten my camera, along with my GPS, so had to get home before taking any pics. Good luck to everyone fishing this weekend, I'm staying off the water until Tuesday.
