The fishing was good, fairly tough, but we managed some really nice trout. Seems like the trout are coming in strong and we will have another great summer. I didn't fish for reds or black drum but there were some nice boxes caught. Trout are good on live shrimp and gulps, in shallow waters, deeper waters free lined under Cajun thunders working them very little. Reds are hitting cut mullet and menhaden, and spoons.
