I had the pleasure of fishing a couple from north of Houston today and they did a great job bringing in the fish. We started out with trout, and he landed a nice 37'' black drum, and she hook up a mid 40'' red that gave her a heck of a fight. He stayed on top most of the time and I managed to get him in the net 2 times, but he would not fit and was too green to tail grab him, he managed to break off, but she did a wonderful job fighting him. After getting all our trout, we headed out looking for the reds. The first 3 or 4 stops we had 1 pick up and bait and drop it, so we moved to another area and worked the pot holes finding all our reds. Thanks folks for a great day on the water and look forward to having you back this fall if not sooner.
