Found MAABL at SLP - 05/30

Fished SLP area on Saturday with my brother and found MAABL (Most Action Allowed By Law) but couldn't catch her twin. We ended up 1 trout shy of a 2-man limt. Most were in the 20" class with the largest at 23.5".

5 of the 19 trout were caught on topwaters (bone ss jrs)... not a real aggressive bite... a few pull offs, lots of blowups, swirls, and wakes. After about 4 hours of playing chase and semi-frustration, we went back to the boat to get the live bait.

That was the ticket...
