Well out of two weekends fishing I ended up with a 2nd Place fish and my personal best ever Ling. I caught a total of 10 Ling the two weekends combined, 4 of which were too small and 6 keepers.
The keepers were.... 28#, 30#, 45#, 48#, 52.25# and this Monster!! 62#!!
As far as sharks went.... talk about one pee'd off camper. The line on my 12/0 is apparently BAD POS Crapola!
I lost 4 Leaders this past weekend, two of the leaders, probably, most likely had the winning Big Head...
Total sharks caught for both weekends
515 Greater Hammer
est. 150 Scalloped Hammer
3 est. 250 Tigers
est. 400-450 Tiger
est. 450-500 Tiger
way too many Smaller ones.
Kingfish... 'bout 50
Red Snapper up to 20#.... 'bout 20 (all released, except one that swallowed a hook, so he went on the grill out at 50 miles.
)
Ohh... and one 200# turtle.
Released of course, he was hooked in the fin.
All in all a wonderful 2 weekend excursion!
