Hey everyone, new to the site. Gonna give it a whirl Sunday. Haven't got to fish salt water all year. Just got back from the Rayburn Big Bass Splash with some prize money to burn. Figured Id drop some on some of that live bait the Westend Angler laughs at me for using!

Update: Blisters on Sunday was a good thing! Caught a ton of fish. Mostly junk fish though. Had 3 reds but of course all measured between 19 and 19.5 inches. Had quite a few black drum and huge croaker. Also a few sheephead over 7 lbs. which put up a nice fight. Had one on the line (don't really know what it was) that took all the braid off my curado down to the mono backing and then broke the 30 lb leader. No trout.
