  • Tuesday night looks very good 5-15-12

The moon and tide look perfect to go hunting.
Mean low tide ends at 9pm and rises all the way untill 3:23am wednesday morning at San Luis Pass and to top it there will be no moon during this entire time frame meaning the fish will have to get supper shallow to sihouette they're food source with only starlight.
If the winds can stay down it should be a epic night of gigging.
I'll be there hopefully with a positve report to follow.

Huge storm moving from west to east...maybe it'll calm down before nightfall but will most like leave the bay looking like YooHoo.

Most likely - been watching those myself and hoping for some good weather next week! If you do get out, hope you find some clear water and flounder to boot! Stay safe!

Weather probably muddied up the bay or the wind was too high, but he could have found a protected hidden spot and knocked 'em out.

            Inquiring minds are waiting

Truth is my rider bailed on me and I couldn't find another. I don't mind going by myself if the weather is stable but because it wasn't I played the safe card and stayed home to devote some time to my Triumph Bonneville and now glad I did. It sat for 2 years. I installed a new battery then I drained the gas and replaced with fresh. Pulled the air filters and shot carb cleaner in the throats and she fired up but ran ruff. A few laps around the neighborhood and some hi speed runs up and down hwy146 and she cleared her throat and runs like the champ she always was. After a hardcore wash and wax now I'm proud again.

Think you need a license tag Bert. The bike looks good.

Nice catch. After I broke my collar bone on it I put it up and just kinda forgot about it. After minor repairs and today's effort it's ready for new tags again!

You've meet her man...a real beast.
I need personalized tags that read "XLKILLR"...The Bonnie and Sporster rivalry goes back to the 50's and this bike is only 865cc's so it laughs at 883cc HD's. I love pulling up to a 1200'cc Sporsters at a red light and then start blipping the throttle all the while looking the HD rider in the eye. Most go for it. All get handed there lunch...
