Bob Dylan getting Medal of Freedom
I don't understand this. I like Dylan's music and all, but why a Medal of Freedom? Same with the women's basketball coach. WTF is up with handing em out like candy???? I thought they are spota be "special" and given to civilian heroes, not some coach or musician-that is what the Music Hall of Fame and Sports (Basketball) Hall of Fame is for.
Maybe it's Obama's way of saying "Why not give em out like candy at Halloween, after all, I won the Nobel Peace Prize and didn't deserve or earn it so I'll just get more votes from some folks handing out 'medals'." Another way IMO to lessen the standards of the USA.
