Hi all,
I've recently moved to Houston from Scotland with work and will be here for a couple of years. I am an avid fly fisherman and am looking for some advice as to opportunities to do some wading / shore fly fishing. Not too fussed what I catch but I guess probably looking at redfish, sea trout and maybe some jacks. I've been told there are some decent opportunities from walking both the Galveston and Surfside jetties and also from the beach/wading at San Luis pass. Any advice or information as to where to try, tides, time of day, parking etc would be greatly appreciated. I've been out with a guide and have a couple more trips booked but would like to take advantage of some DIY fishing.
