Sunday afternoon redfish fun.

Finally got a decent day to take my girlfriend out for a little catching. It wasn't sight casting but it was every bit as much fun! Started out casting and letting her fight them. After a couple of good fish that way, she told me she was gonna cast and land her own fish. She did what she said and landed a solid fish around 5 pounds all on her own. She wanted to unhook as well but knowing how many holes there are in my hands, I said she better let me handle that part.

We ended up landing 9 fish from about 4.5 to 6.5, all while listening to music and knocking back a couple of cold ones. Hilarious!! Not quite the normal speed for me, but way fun!!

Heck of a job I did on this one...... She won't leave me alone about when we can go catch reds again. Haha. At least she has a better understanding of why I want to fish all the time.
