North Jetty trip report 23rd June

Spent a nice, if somewhat hot, trip to the north jetty on Saturday. Fishing an itermediate tip and a weighted green and white clouser I managed 3 trout and lost another three in an enjoyable few hours. Also was bitten off just prior to finishing. Good fun and the only downer was the queue for the ferry back. A couple of trout were in the 2.5-3lb range. All returned. Needless to say I didnt bump into any other fly fishermen......
