  • North Houston Delta Banquet - August 20, 2009

The North Houston Delta Waterfowl Banquet has a change of venue:

    When: August 20, 2009

Where: The Stein Room - Houston Distributing Company
    7100 High Life Drive
    Houston, TX 77066

Convienently located near SH249 and Beltway 8.

Cold Miller Lite, Coors Lite and Shiner Boch on tap. Great BBQ again.

    Social @ 6pm, Dinner @ 7pm, Live Auction @ 8pm.

We are working out the final details for ticket prices, but to help ya'll out in out in these "tough economic" times it looks as if we are going to be able to reduce all entrance ticket prices this year. We also go Kent Crank back as our auctioneer. I will post up more info as it becomes available, but you can PM or call me for more details. Tickets will be available shortly.

It'll be a great time, we've found a way to reduce ticket prices, and not loose any quality in the overall banquet. We'll have somewhere around 15 guns including the "early bird" gun, auction guns, a special gun raffle, and approx. a 10 "pick of the litter" raffle. Plus lots of other hunting stuff, artwork, hunts, ect. This is probally one of the best banquet packages I've seen in awhile.

Were still finalizing all ticket prices including tables but, thinking single ticket prices in the $45 range, and a couple, or father/child in the $60 neighborhood. A table of 8 would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $325.

Ok those will be the ticket prices this year, finalized them this afternoon and ordered the tickets. Probally the lowest ticket price in town. If ya'll want to get a group of Westenders to go in on a table let me know.

The "Early Bird" ticket sales will shut down on Aug 10. "Early bird" gun this year will be a Benelli Nova 12ga. We now have tickets in hand. We will have 15+ guns this year along with several hunts and fishing trips. Wildlife prints, carved decoys, and all the usual banquet items. Cheapest ticket in town!!

Sounds pretty cool. Is the beer free after you buy a ticket?

Absolutely, all the miller lite, shiner bock, and coors light you care to drink. Coe and several other were talking about getting a table which would be cheaper than buying individual tickets.

Guys just a reminder that the early bird closes on Aug 10. Several of you had wanted to get in on a table.

We will have a total of 15 guns this year including a Franchi I-12, Beretta 3901, Mossberg Silver Reserve O/U, Thompsons Center .50 cal, and the early bird gun Benelli Nova.
At least 5 different hunts/fishing trips, artwork and other great hunting related items going out the door that night.
